LUXURY cruiseline Silversea has announced plans for two cruises on Silver Cloud based around the America’s Cup yacht race.
The ship will be anchored at strategic points on both sailings in order to view the race.
A 12-day round trip from Auckland in New Zealand, departing February 16 2000, starts from £4,841. The itinerary includes stops at Lyttelton, Dunedin and Wellington in New Zealand.
Meanwhile, a 14-night voyage from Auckland to Sydney in Australia, leaving on February 28 2000, costs from £5,776. It features stops in Tasmania and Melbourne.
