Scotland’s two biggest airports have recorded strong passenger traffic in July – reflecting rises seen at other airports across the country.
Edinburgh airport reported a record month, with more than 1.2 million passengers travelling through its terminal last month.
International passengers were up by 10.2% year-on-year and domestic passengers by 10.6%.
Glasgow airport recorded its busiest July for seven years, with 956,483 passengers – a rise of 13.7%.
July was the airport’s ninth consecutive month of double-digit growth.
International traffic grew by 15.3%, while domestic numbers grew by 11.4%.
