COACH operator Busabout is launching a flexible bus pass which it claims is 30% cheaper than rail alternatives.
The pass offers travellers a fixed number of travelling days within a limited time period. Prices range from £309 for 10 days over two months, or £249 for youth cardholders, to £759 for a 30-day pass over four months (£609 for cardholders). Additional days cost £35.
Managing director Phil Gazzard said: “A lot of people knew where they wanted to go but did not know how long they would spend at a destination. This meets their needs.”
The operator is also offering a free Greek Island pass worth £37 plus 10 nights free accommodation worth £80 to clients who purchase a one-month pass before June 30.
