Hoseasons is to introduce a range of woodland-based nature lodge breaks for 2016 under new brand ‘Wanderwood’.
The move comes as the operator reveals it has vastly expanded its cottages portfolio to 11,313 cottages with the addition of more than 9,000 properties from its sister Cottages4you.co.uk site.
Wanderwood represents the operator’s seventh accommodation brand to launch in recent years. Others include luxury lodge brands Evermore and Autograph, activity-focused brand Go Active and luxury caravan accommodation brand Bouja.
The tour operator’s Wanderwood properties offer traditional lodge accommodation for affordable, back-to-nature breaks at six of its existing parks.
Managing director Simon Altham said: “They are exactly the type of short breaks our customers are telling us they want.”
They are available at Exmoor Gate Lodges, Wiveliscombe, Somerset; Tilford Woods Lodges, Farnham, Surrey; Fritton Lakes Retreats, Fritton, Norfolk; Woodland Park Lodges, Ellesmere, Shropshire; Brockwood Hall Lodges, Millom, Lake District; and Kiltarlity Lodges, Beauly, Northern Highlands.
The locations have been chosen because of their vicinity in terms of trails, walks and open spaces.
All the lodges are pet-friendly and include complimentary binoculars, umbrellas and information on places to go to or activities, such as bird watching and bug hunting. WiFi is included, while hot tubs feature at all locations but are not fitted in every lodge.
