VIRGIN Airlines is catching up with British Airways as the UK’s favourite airline, according to a recent survey by the Travel Research Centre.
TRC managing director Michael Brooks told the conference that Virgin’s popularity is rising quickly.
He said: “Virgin has come a long way in the last 10 years when it was viewed as pretty much a backpackers’ airline. It is now taken much more seriously. If its popularity continues at the same level, it will overtake BA as the UK’s favourite airline in 2000.”
