Annual dedicated business travel conference. The next event is being held on November 9 at Waterside, British Airways’ headquarters at Heathrow. All independent business travel agents, including ARTAC members, are welcome.


The appointment of a dedicated business travel contact in the telesales team – Tanya Chambers – who will make regular contact with members to ensure their needs are being met.


A regular newsletter for members detailing special deals and promotions and business travel news.


Links with business travel consortiums worldwide through an alliance called Worldwide Independent Network.


Under discussion now is the creation of out-of-hours support line which can be offered by members so that clients can get assistance 24 hours a day.


Advantage is also investigating a quality control system for checking bookings called CORRE.


Advantage has a total of 930 members, of which 80 are purely business travel and 224 are a mixture of business travel and leisure. Members include Ayscough Travel and The Travel Company.
