EasyJet suffered 611 flight cancellations last month, mainly due to strike action in France.
The figure was disclosed as the budget carrier revealed a 4.3% rise in March passenger carryings to 5.7 million.
The airline’s load factor fell by 1.3 percentage points to 91.3% over the same month last year.
The results for March, which included the Easter weekend, gave easyJet a rolling annual passenger total of more than 70 million, up by 7.2% year-on-year with a load factor of 91.5%.
Ryanair revealed on Monday that more than 500 of its flights were cancelled in March due to three days of air traffic control strike action in France.
The Irish low-fares carrier recorded a 28% rise in March carryings to 8.5 million passengers and a rolling annual total of 106.4 million.
