JETSET has struck a deal with the National Trust to give clients booking three nights or more at a hotel in its Freedom Breaks brochure free entry into any NT property.
The offer is one of several value-added components which is being featured in the operator’s 1999/2000 brochure.
A complimentary golf booking service for clients in Ireland, free upgrade to club class for Stena fast-ferry passengers across the Irish Sea, and entry to several major UKvisitor attractions is also included in selected package prices.
Steve Price of marketing consultancy SMP,which handles Jetset’s UKcontracting and product development, said: “Rather than offering the usual discount vouchers which give something like 10% off the price of a bus tour of Cambridge, we wanted to offer something meaningful.”
Free entry to the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds is available for clients booking three nights at the five-star De Vere Oulton Hall.
Similarly, a museum pass giving admission to eight attractions in Ironbridge Shropshire is included in the price of a two-night hotel package starting from £128.75 per person with dinner and bed and breakfast at the Telford Golf and Country Club.
