SIX-branch Hampshire agency Toucan Travel is one of several companies to have written to Thomson after being asked by the operator to sell its business or enter into an alliance (Travel Weekly April 19).
Managing director Terry Thornhill said he wanted to see more details of the proposition.
“Everyone has their price but this does not mean I want to sell the business,” he stressed. “I am just interested to see what it is offering.”
Toucan Travel is also thought to have been approached by Bakers Dolphin and Travel Choice, the new retail arm of First Choice.
