CONTINENTALAirlines has enhanced its UK marketing team in the run-up to the start of a new Gatwick service.
The addition of four new executives, before the launch of daily Cleveland flights on June 30, represents a major marketing investment.
The expanded team will also market improvements to the overall ex-UK service, with extra capacity on key routes to New York and Houston.
The new recruits are Charmaine Price, Celine Garbi, Katie Jefferies and Matthew McElroy.
Price joins from Carefree Travel. He previously worked for the Uganda Tourism Board.
Garbi will have special resp- onsibility for direct marketing and has already had marketing experience with Lufthansa.
Jefferies will focus onpromotions and McElroy will support the airline’s routes from Ireland to New York.
Marketing manager Ian Brocklesby said the team would work on initiatives to keep up Continental’s high profile.
