A new low-fare route between Gatwick and Iceland is being introduced next week by Norwegian.
Flights will run three times a week to Reykjavik with one-way fares starting at £34.90.
The service starts on November 1 using 186-seat Boeing 737 aircraft on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
The airline’s chief commercial officer Thomas Ramdahl said: “Our growth in the UK continues and we are excited to offer a new direct service from London Gatwick to Iceland.
“A firm favourite with Brits due to its nature landscape and outdoor activities makes it a fantastic choice for a winter break.”
The Iceland link will be the airline’s fourth new European route this winter in addition to flights from Manchester to Gran Canaria and Tenerife and Gatwick to Rovaniemi in Finnish Lapland on December 2.
