n premier cruises to launch mexican programme



Premier Cruises is to launch a Mexican programme using two vessels chartered from Royal Olympic Cruises this winter. The 300-passenger Stella Oceanis will commence a series of cruises out of Calica near Cancun on the Caribbean coast on December 2. The 400-passenger Odysseus will startoperating three and four-day cruises out of Puerto Vallerta on Mexico’s west coast from December 3.



n NCL adds fitness programme to norway sailings



Norwegian Cruise Line is offering passengers on its vessel Norway a full fitness programme on a Caribbean flycruise departing on November 12. Training is provided by USathletes and health and fitness experts and guests can take part in a fun run on Great Stirrup Cay, NCL’s private island in the Bahamas. The nine-day trip costs from ú995 per person.



n fred olsen bolsters spring 1999 programme



Fred Olsen has added an unscheduled 13-night cruise to Scandinavia and Germany on Black Prince to its spring 1999 programme. The voyage departs Leith in Scotland on May 21, and stops at ports including Oslo and Copenhagen.Prices lead in at ú695 per person based on two sharing.
