HORNCASTLE Executive Travel has gained a sister travel agency in Sweden after its parent Siem Industries purchased a company called Brostroms Shipping.
Brostroms owns a travel agency called Brostroms Travel Bureau, which is one of the largest in the west region of Sweden.
It has a turnover of ú14m and, like Horncastle Executive Travel, has a strong marine business.
Horncastle managing director Peter Drummond said:”We will work very closely with Brostroms . We are almost identical companies.”
Horncastle is based in Newcastle Upon Tyne but has a satellite office in Teesside.
Drummond said it already has close partnerships with a number of agencies worldwide but said this is the first timeit has been linked with another agency through its parentcompany.
