EUROTUNNEL is to launch a distance-learning training programme aimed at tour operators who sell their product.
The programme, developed by the Travel Training Company, will go out to more than 400 operators and is designed to help reservation and administration teams understand Eurotunnel’s unique selling points as well as explaining administration, bookings and accounting related issues.
The programme includes a video presentation, questions throughout to test understanding, workbooks and a questionnaire. Staff then receive vouchers for Eurotunnel travel.
n Eurotunnel has appointed Jacqui Kean as senior marketing manager.
Kean has joined the company’s marketing team from gas supplier Amerada where she was advertising manager. Prior to that, she worked for P&O European Ferries as an advertising manager.
