Jetlife signs up Anite for ATOP Gold

ANITE has signed a deal with Jetlife Holidays to supply the operator with its ATOP Gold reservations system.

Jetlife will not have to make any upfront capital investment in the system, but it has agreed to pay Anite on-going fees starting at £1 per passenger for its services. Up until now, Jetlife has used a variety of small unintegrated computer reservations systems and staff have had to log in and out of them during the booking process.

Anite head of marketing Howard Frost claimed that by using ATOP Gold, the operator will significantly speed up reservations time.

“They will be using a single database with a transparent link into their CRS, so they will be able to process bookings more quickly,” he said.

“At the moment they can’t complete some quotes for 24hrs because they have to send faxes, but they will be able to do this within seconds now.”

Jetlife managing director Ian Morrison said: “ATOP Gold will significantly enhance Jetlife’s current service levels and enable the company to beef up product development, sales and marketing.”

The operator is also planning to offer Internet bookings in the future.
