LONG-HAUL specialist Jetabout has launched its first ever dedicated youth product for the UKmarket based on the Troppo Zone Bali resort in Indonesia.
The resort is located on the island of Kuta in Bali and consists of 400 rooms with facilities including swimming pools, restaurants, bars, movies and watersports.
In addition, clients are given dog tags on arrival which give them access to free activities including theme parties, club nights, live bands, overnight tours, surfing trips and shopping and country excursions.
Product manager Sally Pollitt said: “The resort has been popular among the Australian market for the last 15 years and we believe it will be a success in the UK market appealing to those who have done the Mediterranean party scene and want to go that bit further.
“Other youth brands stick to short-haul destinations to keep the cost down but we believe this is priced competitively.”
Prices start from ú594 per person for seven nights, including breakfast, flights with British Airways or Qantas, plus free watersports twice a week.
“In addition, the exchange rate is so good that it is dirt cheap once you get there,” said Pollitt.
Troppo Zone, only bookable through Jetabout and exclusive to the Australian and UKmarket, is featured in a dedicated eight-page brochure.
To promote the product, Jetabout is planning a launch party in London next month for travel agents.
It intends to fly the TZ Action Team of local Balinese and international staff over from Bali specifically for the event.
