Cathay Pacific Airways has relaunched its Hong Kong Superstop promotion for 2000, offering stopover passengers accommodation from £15 a night at a choice of seven hotels. The deal is available to any passenger travelling via Hong Kong to any destination on the Cathay Pacific network. The airline is also giving passengers a Yum Sing card which entitles them to discounts and special offers such as two-for-the-price-of-one deals in restaurants and clubs in Hong Kong.

Singapore Airlines has launched a new Singapore Stopover Holiday package offering passengers accommodation from £18 a night plus 50% off food and beverages in selected hotels. The package, which also includes free admissions to several of the city’s key attractions, is available to stopover passengers who are travelling onwards from Singapore to other destinations on the SIA network.

Emirates has launched an additional three flights a week between Dubai and Bangkok to enable it to offer a daily service between the two points. The additional flights to Bangkok on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays connect with Emirates’ flights from Heathrow, Gatwick and Manchester.

Bangkok Airways has launched daily flights between the two Thai resorts of Samui and Krabi and, from March 26, the airline will add flights to Siem Reap, the jumping-off point for Angkor Wat in Cambodia, from Sukhothai, the cultural capital of Thailand. As Bangkok Airways already operates a one-way service from Siem Reap to the Thai beach resort of Phuket, the additional service will make it easier for passengers to put together a three-centre itinerary combining Sukhothai, Cambodia and Phuket.
