Choice Hotels International has appointed Bruce McKenzie as vice-president for the Asia/Pacific region. He joins Choice from Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide where he most recently served as area managing director for 12 hotels and resorts in Indonesia.
Katherine Moore has joined The Virgin Hotel Collection as the new account manager for the Midlands. Her responsibilities will include working closely with the hotels and area sales team to match hotel needs with account requirements. She was previously a freelance sales consultant for a London hotel and has also worked as a teleresearcher.
Danny Giles has been appointed by Wallace Arnold as regional sales representative for London and the southeast. Danny has been in the travel industry for seven years in both tour operator and travel agency environments. He joins from Thomson Travel Group where he worked as a representative in Majorca and Lanzarote.
Harold Burke is leaving Rank Holidays to join Grand UK as sales director. He leaves Rank Holidays as head of sales, groups. Burke haspreviously held senior sales positions at both Pontins and Co-op’s Holidaycare.
