Holiday Autos draws up workshop strategy

HOLIDAY Autos is to organise a series of travel training workshops around the country for agents to learn how to maximise the potential of the leisure car-rental market.

The sessions, to be held in March and April, will tell agents how to boost their earnings through increased commission. The sessions will be led by Holiday Autos sales and training development manager Julia Moorcroft.

The workshops are being held in conjunction with operators Cresta, Best Western Getaway Breaks and Keycamp Holidays and will seek to improve travel agents’ product knowledge as well as sharpening up their selling skills.

Moorcroft said: “The training sessions will be built on agents’ existing knowledge of car rental and bring them right up to date with developments within the company.”

The workshops are taking place at the following venues: East Midlands Airport, March 30; Leeds/Bradford Airport, March 31; Manchester Airport , April 8; Best Western Bamham Broom Hotel, Norwich, April 22; and Best Western Burlington Hotel, Birmingham, April 23.
