n CateRers win contract to serve Millennium dome



Granada Food Services and Letheby and Christopher are to handle the catering and hospitality at the Millennium Dome. Granada will provide six outlets, including a global foodcourt, a health food cafeteria and an all-day diner.Letheby and Christopher will offer catering services to the six banqueting suites.



n STB appoints three new members to board



The Scottish Tourist Board has appointed three new boardmembers. They are Stakis chief executive David Michels,Destination Scotland managing director Sheena Kitchin and Edinburgh city councillor Donald Anderson. They replace Loganair managing director Scott Grier, Highland Distillersinternational marketing manager Peter Fairlie and Highlands and Islands Enterprise chairman James Hunter.



n survey shows Foreign guests favour Leeds castle



A survey of visitors to Leeds Castle in Kent showed that almost one in four of its 500,000 annual visitors comes from overseas. The US, Japan, France and Germany are the biggest sourcemarkets. The report also revealed that visitors stay in thegardens longest in the autumn, when the average length of visit is 3hrs 35mins.
