CLUB Travel 2000 has extended viewdata to its package holiday product after successfully piloting the system on seat-only.
The move coincides with the launch of Club Travel’s two Sunshine Selection brochures, one dedicated for Scotland and the other for England. The programmes go on sale tomorrow.
Sales director Ian Scott said: “Viewdata was introduced for our seat-only product in the last quarter of 1998 and we have swiftly extended them to our package holidays.
“Because of an increase in bookings from independent agents, we have also doubled the number of ports.”
He said high-selling travel agents will start being rewarded with increased commissions.
The resorts of Puerto Rico, San Agustin, Playa Del Ingles and Maspalomas are featured with a range of apartments, hotels and bungalows available.
“Given our strength in Tenerife, this was a logical product development for us,” said Scott.
