Cunardhas streamlined its early booking discounts to make its fares easier for agents and customers to understand.First-time cruisers are being offered discounts of up to 45% on QE2, Vistafjord and Royal Viking Sun, and discounts of up to 30% on Sea Goddess I and Sea Goddess II. Repeat customers receive an additional 10% discount.
n two-for-price-of-one deal from Costa cruises
Costa Cruises is offering two-week January cruises in the Caribbean for the price of one week. Fortnight-long voyages departing Fort Lauderdale on January 16 and 23 lead in at ú1,245 per person.
n celebrity cruises completes $5.4m upgrade
A $5.4m refurbishment of public areas on Celebrity Cruises’ vessel Horizon has been completed. The 1,354-passenger ship now includes a Martini bar, a cigar bar and a coffee and chocolate cafe. Celebrity’s ship Zenith is due to be revamped in October 1999.
