Questions and Answers: AAT Kings Coach Tours

We asked AAT Kings what questions agents most frequently asked when booking a coach holiday. Here’s what they told us:

Can we reserve seats?

AAT Kings has a policy of seat rotation on escorted tours whereby everyone moves on a daily basis. This is a great way for clients to get to know one another. However, with our large panoramic windows, every seat is a good seat!

Do we need to take food and drink on board?

No. Our itineraries allow plenty of time off the coach to visit attractions and to shop. When we cover greater distances, the driver makes refreshment stops every two hours.

Are the coaches air-conditioned?

Yes. None of the Mercedes Benz coaches in our fleet is more than five years old. Other features include reclining seats, foot and arm rests and toilets.

Is smoking permitted on-board?

For the comfort of our clients, all coaches are non-smoking. However, the frequent stops allow those passengers who wish to smoke to do so.

In the case of emergency, can the client be contacted?

Yes. All AAT Kings coaches are fitted with high-frequency radios connected to various departure points.

How much luggage can I take?

On most tours we suggest two medium-sized or one large suitcase per person. But we also remind our clients to keep the airline weight restrictions in mind!

Do I have to tip at hotel stops en route?

It is not necessary. AAT Kings ensures that all hotel tips, gratuities, service charges and porterage are taken care of and included in the cost of the tour.
