New system cuts call times

A NEW £500,000 telephone system has reduced call answering times by 80% at JMC’s new offices in Bradford, the operator claims.

The system was installed as part of a £2m relocation to West Yorkshire from Bolton at the end of last year.

The new offices currently house 350 operational and sales staff. The Information Technology department remains in Pudsey, Yorkshire, another of JMC’s offices, but is expected to relocate later in the year. But sales director Dennis Wormwell said they are struggling to find a suitable office for its southern operation.

“We have been looking for a number of months but nothing has come up,” he said. “We are managing but we need to centralise the business as soon as we can.”

JMC currently has offices in Bromley, Farringdon in London and Brighton.
