Carnival and Star gain NCL shares

CARNIVAL Corporation and Star Cruises have gained control of 92.6% of shares in Norwegian Cruise Line.

The stock has been acquired by Arrasas, a takeover vehicle 60% owned by Star and 40% by Carnival.

Norwegian law allows companies with more than 90% ownership to effectively force minority shareholders to sell their shares.
