VIRGINHolidays has introduced two-centre holidays and city breaks in its 2001 brochure to Florida and the Caribbean.

Two-centre holidays such as Orlando and the Gulf Coast have been combined in the brochure, along with city breaks to main UScities including New York, Boston, Washington and Chicago.

Virgin Holidays managing director Ron Simms said: “We’re building on the success of Florida and trying to liven it up each year.”

Prices start from £439 per adult for seven nights at the Masters Inn Kissimmee. The package includes transfers or car hire, accommodation and direct flights from Gatwick – twice daily to Orlando and once daily to Miami.

Virgin Holidays has also launched a ski brochure, with holidays to California, Nevada, Utah and New England for 2001. The brochure includes a new route of Las Vegas with Virgin Atlantic where passengers can stay at the Las Vegas ski and snowboard resort at Lee Canyon.

The operator has introduced new ski resorts of Big Bear, Snow Summit, Mt Rose, Brian Head, Mount Snow, Loon Mountain and Waterville Valley and reintroduced Utah to the programme.

Sun and Ski packages team up a week on the slopes with a week on a beach or at a US city.
