Delta to start winter London-Orlando service

Delta Air Lines is introducing a seasonal winter service between Heathrow and Orlando.

Flights will run four times a week between October 26 and March 29, 2025.

The US carrier’s eighth US destination served from London will complement partner Virgin Atlantic’s existing daily Heathrow-Orlando service.

Delta is to deploy an Airbus A330-900neo on the new Florida route featuring Delta One Suites, Premium Select, Comfort+ and economy class.

The airline’s EMEA senior vice president Matteo Curcio said: “In partnership with Virgin Atlantic, our new route between Orlando and London seamlessly connects two diverse destinations, offering customers a wealth of experiences on both sides of the Atlantic.

“Floridians can explore London’s historic landmarks like Buckingham Palace and enjoy world-class dining, while Londoners can escape to the sunny beaches and world-famous attractions of Orlando.”

Delta and Virgin Atlantic will together operate up to 187 weekly flights from Heathrow to 14 US destinations this winter, including Miami, Tampa and Orlando and the US airline’s hubs in Atlanta, Boston, Detroit, Minneapolis, New York-JFK, Seattle and Salt Lake City.

Virgin Atlantic also operates year-round service from Manchester and seasonal service from Edinburgh to Orlando.
