A new UK and Ireland area manager has been appointed by Ethiopian Airlines.
Henock Woubishet was previously senior manager network planning at the carrier’s head office in Addis Ababa.
He replaces Michael Yohannes, who held the UK and Ireland role for four years.
Woubishet has worked for the airline since 1992 with previous positions including area manager Italy and southern Europe based in Rome for six years.
He said: “These are exciting times for Ethiopian, with a new destination, Bulawayo, opening up on the network and an additional fourth flight with traffic rights to Geneva from Manchester airport both commencing on October 30.
“I look forward to meeting all the UK travel trade and partners over the coming months, building profitable relationships, and exploring growth opportunities for the airline.”
