The half-day forum, held once again in association with Future of Travel partner Google, will take place on Thursday, May 12 at the company’s offices in central London.

It will feature presentations and panel discussions on the big issues facing the industry as it emerges from the Covid pandemic, including current trading and the outlook for the year ahead, financial and regulatory pressures on businesses, sustainability and a focus on the future of retail.

Confirmed speakers so far include: Alistair Rowland, Abta chairman and chief executive, Blue Bay Travel; Gary Lewis, chief executive, The Travel Network Group; Julia Lo Bue-Said, chief executive, Advantage Travel Partnership; Ryan Pearson, regional manager, Booking.com; Claire Ross, product director, Kuoni; Chris Photi, head of travel & leisure, White Hart Associates; and Prue Stone, group head of sustainability, Hotelplan UK.

Lucy Huxley, editor-in-chief of Travel Weekly Group, said: “I am delighted to be able to extend our Future of Travel series with our first in-person Spring Forum to complement our autumn conference.

“As always, I am incredibly grateful to Google for its ongoing support and to our speakers and sponsors for allowing us to host what I’m sure will be another fascinating and insightful event.”
