Jet2.com has introduced services to Innsbruck from Birmingham, Manchester and Bristol for the 2022 summer season.
The airline said it had “responded to strong and continued demand” for 2022 holidays with its first summer flights to the Tyrolean capital.
Flights will operate from May to September 2022, with a weekly schedule from Birmingham and Bristol and a twice-weekly service from Manchester.
Jet2 said the services would open up a range of sporting activities including hiking, mountain biking, cycling and golf in addition to the city itself.
Steve Heapy, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays chief executive, said: “We’re continuing to see confidence and strong demand from British holidaymakers looking to get away. As ever, we’ve listened to what customers are telling us and responded to that demand by announcing the start of services to Innsbruck in the summer.”
He added: “Innsbruck is a fantastic city in the summer and acts as a gateway to the Alps, offering lots to see and do. We expect the new programme to be hugely popular.”
