Scott Edwards has been named by Virgin Atlantic as senior account manager for US leisure accounts.
He previously worked for 15 years at Virgin Holidays before moving to Kenwood Travel, with responsibility for ground purchasing in the Americas.
His career in product, commercial and purchasing roles has given him extensive knowledge and exposure to the US and Caribbean markets, the airline said.
Agency sales director Nicki Goldsmith said: “We are delighted to welcome Scott back to Virgin Atlantic.
“He has an incredible wealth of experience and will bring a lot of energy and fun to the team. I look forward to working closely with him on his journey with Virgin Atlantic.”
Edwards added: “I’m ecstatic to be taking on the role of senior account manager. I am committed to building on the fantastic momentum the Virgin Atlantic sales team have already achieved with our important travel agency partners.”
