Visit Orlando will unveil a new trade website in June as part of an overhaul of its online platforms.
The update to the sites comes as the destination reported 877,000 UK travellers visited in 2023, an 8% increase on the previous year but still significantly down on pre-pandemic years including 2018 when 1.04 million UK holidaymakers visited the city.
Speaking at the IPW conference in Los Angeles, Visit Orlando chief executive Casandra Matej said she was confident visitor numbers would continue to rebound on the back of increased investment in tourism and hospitality product.
She also reiterated a commitment to developing tools for travel agents, including the recent introduction of a youth travel module on the online Orlando Expert training platform and the enhanced trade website.
She said: “We are launching new websites to all of our audiences, including our website for the trade, and we have listened to our audience to create more functional, beautifully designed and accessible sites for all audiences.”
