Ryanair raises summer Kerry capacity

Ryanair is raising capacity from Kerry airport in the west of Ireland this summer.

Frequency is being increased to Manchester and Alicante, two of seven routes to be served from the Irish regional airport.

Overall capacity is being increased by 7% over last summer with destinations also including London, Faro, Palma and Frankfurt.

The budget carrier is targeting 350,000 passengers to and from the airport with up to 76 flights a week.

The schedule will support more than 430 local jobs and help boost tourism and connectivity for the region, according to Ryanair.

Ryanair marketing and digital director Dara Brady said: “We look forward to welcoming hundreds of thousands of customers/visitors onboard our flights to/from Kerry this summer as Ryanair continues to deliver more traffic, connectivity, and lower fares than any other airline.”
