Travel Weekly is to hold its second annual People Summit on Wednesday, July 5.
The conference will be hosted at the offices of Grant Thornton in central London and follows a highly successful inaugural event at the same venue in autumn 2022.
The half-day summit will again focus on the industry’s efforts and challenges around recruitment and retention and the perception of the sector as a career choice, and will feature a series of discussions, debates and presentations from a range of experts.
Key subjects to be covered will include recruitment; training and development; the future of the workplace and working culture; the role of technology; and the importance of developing a diverse and inclusive workforce.
The event will be held in partnership with headline sponsor Jet2holidays, premium sponsor C&M Recruitment and sponsors Best Workplaces in Travel, The Travel Network Group and Travlaw.
Lucy Huxley, Travel Weekly Group editor-in-chief, said: “The first People Summit was introduced in response to the industry’s ongoing challenges with recruitment and staffing following the Covid-19 pandemic, and was incredibly well received.
“Alongside our prospectus-style publication and website Take Off in Travel, the conference forms a key part of Travel Weekly’s efforts to support our readers and partners by showcasing the incredible opportunities a career in the sector can offer and sharing best practice and advice from leaders in the field.”
Attendance at the People Summit is by invitation-only. However, if you would like to register your interest in attending should spaces become available, please use complete the form below.
