Discover Qatar and Qatar Airways Holidays have appointed Tina Hodge as head of sales overseeing the sales teams for both brands.
She has more than 20 years of experience in the travel industry including roles at Emirates Holidays, dnata and Gold Medal.
The brands said she “brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise back to the sector after a two-year hiatus”.
She replaces Jessica Shelton-Agar who has become managing director at Online Travel Training (OTT), which was acquired by Travel Weekly parent company Jacobs Media in November 2023.
“We are excited to welcome Tina on board at this pivotal time of growth in the region,” said Steven Reynolds, senior vice-president at Discover Qatar.
“Tina’s skills will add significant value and a great deal of experience to the business complementing our talented team in continuing to drive the business forward.”
The statement from the brands said her return “signifies a commitment to expanding Discover Qatar and Qatar Airways Holidays’ global footprint, and strengthening its market presence as tourism continues to flourish in Qatar”.
Discover Qatar is the destination management Company (DMC) for the Qatar Airways Group, while Qatar Airways Holidays is the leisure division of Qatar Airways.
