Flights rescheduled by Tui to return holidaymakers to the UK following Friday’s global IT meltdown now stretch for almost a week.
Some due to return to the UK over the weekend have been told that flights will not operate until Thursday together with alterations to arriving airports.
A flight from Antalya due into Newcastle re-timed to July 25 will now operate into Manchester airport with onward transportation to the northeast. A Dalaman-Manchester service has also been re-timed until Thursday.

A delayed return to Birmingham from Montego Bay in Jamaica today (Tuesday) will fly to Manchester instead with onward ground transport provided.
A Tenerife-Gatwick flight also rescheduled for today will go to Manchester with onward travel offered back to the London airport.
A Luton flight from Tunisia will also go to Manchester instead later today with connecting transport.
An update on the Tui UK website made yesterday (Monday) shows 26 revised inbound flights from the weekend covering destinations in Spain, Turkey, Croatia, Egypt, Cyprus, Greece, Tunisia and Jamaica.
The operator offered its “sincere apologies” for the disruption caused to customers due to return home.
Tui pledged to reimburse “reasonable costs” of extended hotel stays together with meals and soft drinks provided receipts are kept.
Those able to source a return flight with another airline can also claim the cost back.
Sutton Travel posted on X: “This is a poor show from Europe’s largest tour operator.
“We don’t have any clients impacted, but feel sorry for those families learning of holiday cancellations today.”
