A-Rosa River Cruises removes vaccination requirement

A-Rosa River Cruises has removed the need for passengers to provide proof of vaccination, recovery or a certified negative test result before embarking its ships.

The line said the move marks the next major step in its relaxation of health and hygiene protocols across its fleet.

The only exception will be for passengers sailing on A-Rosa Alva (pictured) on the Douro in Portugal where regional regulations still require guests over 12 to provide proof of full vaccination.

They can also provide proof of recovery from Covid-19 to join the cruise.

Furthermore, the requirement to wear face masks and take a rapid antigen test prior to boarding remains in place.

Last month, the line removed its mask mandate and rapid antigen test requirement for other cruises.

Measures such as extended cleaning and disinfection protocols remain in place on A-Rosa’s ships to ensure hygiene standards are upheld.

The line said: “As always, the wellbeing and health of all guests and crew member remains a top priority.

“The Care Team will continue to monitor the situation and if necessary, will adjust and adapt the protocols accordingly if required.”
