Abu Dhabi is launching a Summer Pass to promote the UAE capital as a summer holiday destination.
The summer pass has been created in a bid to remove Abu Dhabi’s image as solely a winter-sun spot and to promote year-round holidays.
It provides access to theme parks Warner Bros World, Yas Waterworld and Ferrari World, as well as 14 cultural sites, including the Louvre Abu Dhabi. It also entitles the holder to free bus transportation.

The pass, which is expected to go on sale later this week, costs 599 AED (£130) for adults and 499 AED (£108) for children aged up to 17 and will be available to purchase via tour operators or through the Visit Abu Dhabi website.
Agents can purchase passes at a lower rate on B2B site experiencehub.com and mark their commission up to 15%.
Husain Al Hashmi, regional section head for the Department of Culture and Tourism in Abu Dhabi, told Travel Weekly: “We always have a busy winter schedule with a very healthy occupancy rate as tourists visit to get some winter-sun, but we want to show that Abu Dhabi has so much to offer all year round.
“We have invested in infrastructure, facilities and properties and we believe there is huge market for tourists to visit in the summer months.
“We created the Summer Pass as a value product to give tourists the opportunity to experience Abu Dhabi’s full offering of entertainment and must dos.”
He added: “Agents are hugely important to us and we are always trying to build our relationship with the trade, which we hope will help us to reach our goal of hitting the same visitor numbers as in 2019.”
