AmaWaterways has confirmed it will build a second double-width river cruise ship.
The vessel will be the sister ship of AmaMagna (pictured), which entered service in 2019.
The 196-passenger vessel is 22 metres wide – almost twice the width of standard river cruise ships.
AmaWaterway’s second double-width ship is expected to enter service in 2027. Further details will be released “in due course”, the line said.
The announcement follows the news the line will add two more ships to its fleet in 2026. AmaSofia will operate a range of itineraries on the Rhine and Danube while AmaKaia is set to sail on the Mekong.
