Fred Olsen Cruise Lines adds four itineraries to 2025 programme

Fred Olsen Cruise Lines has added four itineraries to Balmoral’s 2025 programme, including a Grand Voyage.

The 45-night Tropical Islands and Verdant Rainforests of the Caribbean and Central America cruise will sail round-trip from Southampton on February 15, 2025 with calls in Spain, Sint Maarten, British Virgin Islands, Dominican Republic, Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Belize, Honduras, Jamaica, Bermuda and Portugal. Prices lead in at £4,999.

The three shorter itineraries include the 15-night In Search of the Northern Lights sailing departing from Southampton on January 18, 2025.

The cruise will call at several destinations in Norway, including Alesund, Narvik, Tromso, Harstad, Leknes and Molde. Prices start at £2,099.

A 13-night Winter Warmth in the Canary Islands sailing is scheduled to depart from Southampton on February 2, 2025 and costs from £1,699.

Passengers will visit Funchal in Portugal as well as Tenerife, Las Palmas, Arrecife and La Coruna in Spain.

The final new itinerary is the nine-night Springtime Norwegian Fjords cruise which will depart from Southampton on April 1, 2025 and call at Vik, Haugesund and Stavanger, all Norway. Prices start at £1,199.

Customers will receive up to £300 onboard credit or free UK door-to-door transfers for up to 200 miles on selected bookings made by April 30.

Head of itinerary product development Martin Lister said: “These four new itineraries have been carefully hand-crafted by our team of journey planners.

“The springtime cruise in Norway has been timed to showcase the very best of the fjords and mountain scenery while north Norway will give guests the ideal opportunity to witness the Northern Lights.

“Guests will also be able to embrace the local way of life in each of the destinations they are visiting and seek out native wildlife.”

He added: “Whether guests are sailing for the first of tenth time, there really is a huge variety of cruises to suit everyone’s desires.”
