Fred Olsen Cruise Lines releases summer 2024 Dover departures

Fred Olsen Cruise Lines has released its summer 2024 Dover departures with five itineraries.

The line will operate five cruises all on Borealis, with destinations including Norway, Iceland, Portugal and the Azores.

The first departure will be the 14-night Maritime Cities and Sailing Events of the Baltic itinerary, leaving Dover on June 27.

Passengers will call at Kiel and Warnemunde, both Germany; Gdansk, Poland; Visby, Sweden; Tallinn, Estonia; and Helsinki and Turku, both Finland. Prices start at £2,099.

The ship will then operate an 11-night Whales and Volcanic Landscapes of Iceland cruise calling at Pentland Firth and Lerwick, both Scotland; and Akureyri, Isafjordur, Reykjavik, Heimaey and Vestmannaeyjar, all Iceland.

Prices lead in at £1,599 based on a July 11 departure.

Next will be a nine-night Scenic Landscapes and Wildlife of the British Isles which will call at several ports in Scotland and the UK, including Kirkwall and the Isle of Skye.

The cruise departs on July 22 and costs from £1,399.

The penultimate sailing from Dover will be the 14-night Volcanic Islands of the Azores and Madeira itinerary departing on July 31.

Passengers will visit Praia da Vitoria, Ponta Delgada, Funchal, Lisbon and Leixoes, all in Portgual. Prices start at £1,999.

The final cruise from Dover will be an eight-night Summertime Norwegian Fjords cruise departing on August 14.

The itinerary calls at several destinations in Norway, including Eidfjord, Bergen, Flam and Olden. Prices start at £1,249.
