At the beginning of next year, Balmoral will depart on a 78-night South America and Antarctic sailing. Guests will cruise the Patagonian Fjords in Chile, the Galapagos Islands, the Bahamas and, for the first time in the line’s history, the Antarctic.
The cruise departs on January 5, 2023 and will return to Southampton. Prices start from £7,999.
Clare Ward, director of product and consumer service, said: “At Fred Olsen, we have almost 200 years of seafaring history, and so to welcome guests aboard from Portsmouth, a city with rich maritime heritage, is particularly exciting for us.
“These sailings have been handcrafted by our team of dedicated journey planers to offer our guests something special at the time of year they are visiting.
“Plus, the smaller size of Balmoral means everyone can be sure of a warm and friendly atmosphere aboard all of her sailings, whether it’s for a warmer festive break or that once-in-a-lifetime voyage to South America or Antarctica.”
