Gold Medal has created three additional trade sales roles, with two of the positions filled earlier this month.
The trade-only operator has recruited Samantha Lynch, formerly of Great Little Breaks, and Rhiannon Simpson, previously at Spires Travel, as trade partnership executives.
Lynch has responsibility for the southwest and south Wales, while Simpson is covering the Midlands, with the search ongoing to fill the east of England position.

Gold Medal trade partnership director Karen Fletcher said: “I am delighted to welcome Sam and Rhi to the trade sales team – they both have very bright futures in travel. At Gold Medal we are proud to be investing in the next generation of travel professionals; supporting them, teaching them and believing in them.”
Lynch, previously travel trade sales executive at Great Little Breaks, said she was “thrilled” to be joining Gold Medal.
She added: “I have always admired the brand’s commitment to providing exceptional travel experiences and I am looking forward to all the new experiences and doors this role will open for me in the south west and south Wales region.”
Simpson, who previously worked at Worcester agency Spires Travel, described her new role as her “dream job”.
“Gold Medal and the specialist brands have so much to offer agents and I am excited to be able to support in the delivery of these messages, offers, incentives and knowledge,” she said.
“I can’t wait to learn from the trade partnership managers and enjoy all the new experiences coming my way.”
