A hotel group is offering travel agents the chance to stay at one of its overseas locations for up to a month as part of a ‘Work from Anywhere’ scheme.

Orascom Hotel Management, the hotels management arm of Orascom Development Group, is offering agents free full-board accommodation in Egypt, Montenegro, the United Arab Emirates, or Oman.

The scheme – a new take on the traditional agent fam trip – has been designed to allow agents to properly experience one of the group’s luxury resorts while working remotely between June and November this year.

Agents can request two weeks or one month of accommodation free of charge and can bring along a plus-one.

The stays will include a 30-minute educational from Orascom as well as one mystery activity each week.

The locations available are El Gouna in Egypt, Luštica Bay in Montenegro, The Cove in Ras al Khaimah, and Hawana Salalah and Jebel Sifah in Oman.

OHM marketing director Sherine Sennara said: “We truly believe in the efficiency and effectiveness of remote work, as well as the ability of travel to inspire creativity.

“We designed the ‘Work from Anywhere’ programme to reinvigorate agents’ love of travel and refamiliarise themselves with Orascom’s hotels following the pandemic.

“We hope the sunny climates, beautiful sceneries, exciting activities, and excellent service offered in all OHM destinations will inspire agents as they book trips for their customers in 2023 and beyond.”

To apply for a chance to take part in the ‘Work from Anywhere’ scheme agents have to explain why they would like to work from their chosen location and attend a 30-minute webinar hosted by Orascom representatives to learn about the company. The closing date for entries is the end of April and agents have to register here.

There is no limit on how many agents the group will accept, but it will depend on hotel availability.
