Tour operator Insider Journeys has entered into a partnership with German specialist operator Colibri Travel to broaden its portfolio.
Insider Journeys, formally known as Travel Indochina, is offering a range of Colibri’s wilderness and nature tours to destinations it has not previously offered.
The move means the operator can now offer a wider product range, including safari tours in Malawi, active adventures in Panama, birdwatching and wildlife walks in Yellowstone Park and northern lights and polar expeditions in Canada.
Colibri has a variety of group and private tours that closely match the style of Insider Journeys’ tours and meet clients’ interests, according to Insider Journeys. Group sizes are still small, around 16 to 18 people, but some tours can take higher numbers.
UK & Ireland director of sales Mark Hopper said: “It’s a perfect fit for us, further expanding our portfolio and offering.”
The new tours, branded Colibri Travel by Insider Journeys, feature on Insider Journeys’ website. They include an eight-day Costa Rica Adventure from £996, a self-drive private tour for those who want to see the destination’s highlights and combine it with a beach stay at the end of the trip.
