Jet2holidays will launch its first podcast series next Thursday (October 24), designed for travel agents and hosted by general trade sales manager Lloyd Cross.
Partners2Success: The Podcast! will be available for free on Spotify and Apple Music and agents are encouraged to get in touch if they wish to contribute or take part.
Cross will chat to guests from within and beyond the industry, offering agents tips and insights to help them develop their businesses.
The first episode features Don Bircham from Don Bircham Travel; Greig Avinou, franchise owner at Barrhead Travel Falkirk; and entertainer Nathan Turner.
Subjects covered will include the benefits of being your own boss, the best parts of being in the travel industry and how Don negotiated an early exit from school.
It follows the launch of Jet2holidays’ WhatsApp trade group which has already signed up thousands of agents.
Cross said: “We are always looking at how we further improve the brilliant relationships that we have with independent travel agents, whilst giving them the knowledge and skills they need to succeed at the same time.
“With more and more people listening to podcasts, we believe this is a great way to interact with agency partners and what better way to learn how to succeed than to listen to other amazing success stories.
