Jules Verne launches Channel Islands tour

Escorted tour specialist Jules Verne has launched a new Channel Islands tour designed for customers wanting to travel close to home while still visiting somewhere a “little more exotic”.

The itinerary take guests to Jersey, Guernsey, Sark and Herm, making it the only tour that covers four islands in the English Channel, according to the operator.

Highlights of the itinerary include a horse drawn cart tour of Sark, a private tour of Jersey War Tunnels and a visit to Victor Hugo’s home.

Prices for six-night tour start at £1,935, including easyJet flights from Gatwick.

General manager Debbie O’Neill said: “We launched our Close to Home range of UK tours during the pandemic. Then, in response to requests from customers wanting to travel closer to home but equally wanting something a little more exotic, we launched the islands in the Channel tour in 2023.

“The big benefit of booking a tour is that you get a superb breadth and depth of experience in such a short space of time. This, and always being accompanied by local experts, makes the trip unique and memorable.”
