Just Go Holidays unveils heritage and culture collection

Just Go Holidays has launched a new Heritage and Culture Collection for 2023, featuring 13 escorted coach tours visiting historic sites across the UK.

Each tour begins at the featured hotel, so customers can make their own way either by car or train. Coach transfers are provided to and from all excursions and a tour manager is on hand throughout.

Claire Dutton, trade sales manager at Just Go Holidays, said: “There is everything from a visit to the Battle of Britain Bunker where key decisions were made, or stepping back in time in Northumbria to exploring the most haunted historic castle in England, or discovering Lennon and McCartney’s truly humble beginnings on a visit to their childhood homes in Liverpool.

“These tours offer customers the flexibility of making their own way to the hotel, so agents all around the country can get behind these.”

New tours include Heroes, Spies & GIs – Stories from a Country at War, which costs from £675.

It visits sites such as Bentley Priory, Bletchley Park, Audley End House and the Imperial War Museum Duxford, and includes four nights at the Novotel Stevenage.

Also new is the Northumbria – A Kingdom of Magnificent Castles, costing from £575 and including four nights at the Copthorne Hotel in Newcastle.

It visits Lindisfarne Priory, Alnwick Castle and Gardens, and Bamburgh Castle (pictured).

Beauty and The Beat – Tales from the Mersey River costs from £775. It features the Royal Liver Building, Port Sunlight and a scenic drive around famous Beatles landmarks, and includes four nights at the Mercure Atlantic Tower Hotel in Liverpool.

All rates are based on half-board accommodation, with two sharing.
