Hawley will focus on supporting NJT’s travel consultants and helping build relationships with trade partners. He is also responsible for tripling NJT’s marketing team within the next two months.

“I feel excited to help NJT’s travel consultants develop the messaging that helps them grow and expand their sphere of influence,” he said.

“I am looking to bring on 10 members of the marketing team within the next two months, which will take us from our current five up to 15.

“The whole growth trajectory of the business is focused on doing a lot more with the trade in terms of our communication and brand awareness, as well as helping out travel consultants to stay motivated and be experts in their field.

“It’s a rapid growth plan but I’m excited to be working with NJT which I think is such a smart brand.”

Co-founder Steve Witt said: “We took a long time to find the right person to fill the head of marketing role but Grant has the skill set we need to help each of our individual travel consultants set up their own business while building an overarching NJT brand.

“We intend to triple our cruise sales within the year ending September 2023, going from 12% in 2022 up to 35% next year, so Grant will also produce video content to help our travel consultants push cruise.”
