Not Just Travel has launched a forum and committee to enable its members to share feedback and have their say on the development of the company.
The TC Forum is an advisory board and community council which has been created so that the agency’s management can “learn from travel consultants and to hear their opinions, concerns and excitement”.
Not Just Travel co-founder Paul Harrison said: “It’s a way of hearing what is working and what can be improved, but also a testbed for ideas and news. Every NJT consultant can share thoughts, comments and ideas with members of the Forum.”
The new Diamond Committee, meanwhile, is a forum for NJT’s high-achieving consultants who have reached ‘Diamond’ status, having earned over £500k in commission.
Co-founder Steve Witt said: “Mahatma Gandhi famously said, ‘There goes my people. I must follow them, for I am their leader’. It’s a saying that has stuck with me, and on which Paul Harrison and I have built our business on.
“NJT is built on relationships and people, therefore it’s important to be led by the people that matter the most to us, our consultants. We are continuously investing – not just financially, but personally and strategically too – in the businesses of our members.”
The first four members of the TC Forum have been invited to represent a “diverse view of business owners”.
Another four members will be self-nominated and then voted on by fellow consultants.
Not Just Travel consultant Ami Wood said: “This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to collate and share ideas and views.”
Fellow members James and Natasha Oliphant said: “It’s great that the TC Forum is made up of a diverse range of consultants. We know we do things a little differently to others. We’ve very excited to be able to give back and support the business.”
